How can I see which positions are vacant?
All vacant positions are advertised on our homepage, which is updated continuously.

Can I send my application by mail or letter?
We only accept applications online. We do this to ensure that you get a fair and rapid response. At the same time it enables us to keep your application in our CV database, which we use actively and regularly when vacant positions come up.  

Who do I send my application to?
The Danish Technological Institute only accepts applications online. You can apply for a position which is advertised or you can send us an unsolicited application.

Who will assess my application?
Your application will first and foremost be assessed by the manager who has a vacant position in the job area you are applying for.

How long does it take before I get a reply to my application?
We process your application as quickly as possible and as far as possible reply to all applications within six weeks from deadline of application. We will contact you either via e-mail or by telephone.

How do I update my CV on your CV database?
Every six months you will receive a mail with your user name and password as well as a link to the page where you can update your CV. You are given the option of deciding whether you want to continue having your CV in our database or whether you want it deleted. You will receive the mail to ensure that we can retain the CV’s from those candidates who wish to be contacted if a vacant position comes up which matches their qualifications and job requirements.

Can I have emails sent to me with details of vacant positions?
After putting your CV in our database, we offer you the opportunity to set up a job agent. With the job agent you will receive a mail with those positions we have advertised and which match your wishes, requirements and qualifications. Can I write my dissertation / Ph.D. in collaboration with the Danish Technological Institute?
Yes. We are always interested in collaborating in projects and dissertations. If you have a project topic of relevance to the Institute’s technical and professional work, you are welcome to write a short and carefully prepared proposal and send it to Personnel and Development. You are also welcome to contact the relevant technical centre to hear more about opportunities for collaboration.

Can I do a work placement at the Danish Technological Institute?
We believe that work placement schemes make an extremely positive and educational contribution and every year have a significant number of students attached to the Institute. You are welcome to contact Personnel and Development for more details. Alternatively you can contact the relevant technical centre.

What is your wages policy?
Salaries are individual. In some jobs it is also possible to earn a bonus for particularly good work performance.   

Do you attach any inportance to professional and personal development?
We expect a lot from our employees which is why it is important to create the right conditions for you to fully realise your talents. We are a research and consultancy institute and a job with us provides you with plenty of opportunity for professional and personal development. On top of this, any needs you have for courses and training are continuously evaluated in relation to the Institute’s development. In consultation with their immediate manager, all employees are given the opportunity of participating in both internal and external training and educational courses.
