Project – Job profiles and qualifications for employees in Danish airports

Commercial transport education committee. The project is finalised.

Project start January 2008. Expected completion May 2010.

The project objective is to give an adequate picture of future job profiles within the airport authority, through description of development and status tendencies

Fly i lufthavn

Job profile descriptions can be used by employees, employer, educational institutes and organisations, to advise on job development and education within the airport authority

Included in the study are employees with positions connected to material transport and passenger goods as well as other service assignments (cargo, baggage & service)

The reasons for implementing analyses in these areas of employment are the ever changing job descriptions in the airport authority, as it is connected to many different service assignments within the central area of transport. They could be areas of dire importance such as safety and effectiveness of airport traffic e.g. off-loading of traffic and maintenance of outdoor areas.
