Introduction courses for new employees
We expect a lot from our employees, so it is therefore important to create the right conditions for you to be able to fully realise your talents. As a result, we set great store by giving you a good start in the job and putting in place what is needed to create the best possible opportunities for development. We have developed a number of activities which you as a new employee will regularly be invited to join. All activities contribute to increasing your knowledge of the Institute and integrating you quickly and effectively into your work.

The introduction course is individual and worked out in a collaboration between Personnel and Development and the centre you are employed in.

When you have been employed for three months, you and your manager or day to day leader will have a three-month assessment interview, in which you will both evaluate the introduction course, discuss how it is going generally with your job and your development and follow up on any mutual expectations.

Work placements and student jobs
We take part in work placement schemes and take on student assistants on a continual basis. We regard both as making extremely positive and educational contributions to our work and every year we have a significant number of students attached to the Institute.

Project collaboration
We are always open to exciting problems and project proposals from students at universities and business schools around the country.  We are happy to put our knowledge and expertise at the disposal of those kinds of projects where our technical base makes it relevant for us to participate.

When you enter into a collaboration with us in relation to your project, dissertation or ph.d., you also contrbute your technical expertise, which helps us to continually upgrade and develop the Institute’s knowledge and competences to the benefit of both colleagues and customers.

If you have a project of relevance to the Institute’s technical areas of competence, you are welcome to contact the relevant business area to hear more about opportunities to collborate with us. You can also write a short and carefully prepared proposal to us and put it on our CV database. We will use your presentation to identify your interests and match them with our needs and requirements. If the project is relevant for us, an employee with the relevant technical expertise will contact you to discuss how best to proceed further. As a matter of principle you will be asked to sign a declaration of confidentiality.

Traineeships
Every year starting on 1^st September we take on a number of office trainees. Recruitment is carried out in the January or February of the same year. Information about traineeships can be found on our homepage, trainee portal and other relevant internet pages.
