The Danish Technological Institute is a development-orientated company with a considerable level of freedom, where working in a responsible and committed way is a norm.

We have a tradition for allowing space for our employees to fully realise their talents, which is in line with the Institute’s continued development and our strategy. All the way from recruitment and throughout a person’s career at the Institute, we seek to give our employees scope in every respect to show initiative and contribute to the development of the Institute. As a knowledge-based company we provide the flexibility for the work to be done, also taking into consideration people’s private circumstances. We have both male and female employees who have chosen to work reduced hours because of family commitments, parents with children as well as grandparents. We consider it an honour to be able to serve the customer in the best possible way, so for employees who are responsible for taking telephone calls from customers we feel it is important that the work is carried out at the Institute. For others however it can be an advantage to create a more flexible workplace. As a result there are more than 250 employees who are directly linked up to the Institute via a PC, with all the flexibility that allows. We act according to the motto that employees are our greatest asset, which in practice has meant that in several areas employment terms and conditions at the Institute are more favourable than is the practice in other workplaces. This applies to holiday money, number of days off and insurance.
