Induction process for new employees
We set the bar high for new employees, and therefore it is important to create the proper framework and development opportunities that allow you to make full use of your competencies and professional qualifications. We make considerable effort to give you a good start in your new job and to offer you a variety of activities so that you can learn about the Institute and become integrated into it as well as possible. You will also be assigned a mentor whose task will be to ensure that you are thoroughly introduced to your work duties and to the sector in which you will be working.

After you have been employed for three months, you and your supervisor will have a meeting in which you will together evaluate the induction period, discuss your general job-satisfaction and development, as well as follow up on mutual expectations.

In addition, you will have, within your first year of employment, a meeting with an HR advisor, in which we will follow up on your induction and in which you will have the opportunity to discuss your future ambitions for your further career path at the Danish Technological Institute.

Practicum periods or student jobs
We often offer internships, both to students and new graduates for a 4-week period, and we regularly employ student assistants. We regard this as a positive and educational initiative and every year, we have a number of students and new graduates attached to the Institute.

Available student jobs are posted on our web site and in relevant educational institutions and electronic job portals.  If you are interested in an internship, you are welcome to apply by the relevant posting under ‘Available Jobs’, along with a motivated job application and CV. If we are in a position to offer you a practicum placement as a step in your education or as a graduate for a 4-week period, we will then contact you to make further arrangements.

Project cooperation
We are always open to exciting challenges and research questions from students from universities both in Denmark and abroad. We are happy to make our knowledge and expertise available in areas where our academic qualifications make it relevant to participate.

When you enter into cooperation with us in connection with your project, thesis or Ph.D., you also contribute with your academic expertise, which helps us to constantly upgrade and develop our knowledge and skills for the benefit of both colleagues and customers.

If you have a project topic relevant to our business areas, you are welcome to contact us to learn more about opportunities for cooperation. You can also write a brief and thorough presentation to us and upload it via our project notices under 'Available jobs'. If the project is currently relevant, we will contact you to arrange for possible cooperation.

You can meet us at job fairs around the country
We participate among other things at the DSE fair in Lyngby and the Science Joblink fair in Aarhus.
