Nordic Drying Conference - NDC 2013
The NDC 2013, June 5 - 7 2013 was the sixth dewatering and drying conference organized by the Nordic countries represented by Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Iceland. It has been held every two years with international participants from 30 Countries. The main purpose of the NDC 2013 is to provide forum to exchange of technical and scientific knowledge on drying and dewatering between the industry, academia, research centers and consulting agencies. Another aim is to promote the best drying and dewatering practices in the Nordic nations and internationally. The conference topics will be on better products and enhanced processes and technologies for a sustainable society while complying with economical growth and industrial competiveness. This includes solving current challenges on product-process quality, development, troubleshooting, improvements in energy utilization and minimizing the impact on environment, climate change, and on ecological systems.
The NDC 2013 was locally organized by Danish Technological Institute and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in the period from June 5 to 7, 2013.
