Robot cell for customised formwork production
There are a great number of possibilities in the manufacturing of unique concrete structures. Today’s digital design tools give architect new possibilities to create advanced shapes of the concrete. Using our robot we can transfer digital models to physical output. Our main focus is in the manufacturing of unique formwork for concrete but we have also experience in the manufacturing of prototype models.
The primarily processing technique on the robot is milling in combination with light-weight block materials which is suited for casting in concrete.
The robot cell at the High Tech Concrete Laboratory is a 6-axis Fanuc robot equipped with the latest software for robot programming/control enabling very complex 6-axis movement (milling). The robot was supplied by Gibotech A/S
