Injection moulding - Injection Moulding
Injection moulding of plastic components involves a wide range of considerations and choices, which DTI's specialists within plastics and packaging can support as a dynamic partner. We address every aspect of development, design, and process optimisation, and can thus help ensure a fast and efficient route from sketch to approved production. This ensures both technically and economically optimal solutions from concept development to customer delivery.
At the Danish Technological Institute, our specialists use the latest technologies, which creates the optimal framework for the services we provide throughout the process - from development phase with design and material selection to approval and commencement of production. The use of these tools is based on strong expertise in both commodity and high-performance polymer materials.
As part of quality assurance of the injection moulding process, we offer assistance in many areas, from material analysis and testing to fault analysis on tools and components. We offer microCT scanning of components in connection with quality analysis - an effective method for detecting possible air inclusions, correct fibre dispersion, and other moulding defects.
