Technological Institute is the project coordinator for an innovation consortium that will work with steel fiber reinforced concrete structures. The Consortium is a collaboration between 11 partners and has a total budget of 13,500,000 DKK. The project is jointly financed by the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation.
The overall objective of the project is to promote the sustainability of concrete structures for environment, health, productivity and aesthetics through the increased use of steel fiber reinforced concrete used in actual construction.
The result will be a pre-normative document providing guidelines for design of steel fiber reinforced concrete structures.
