We focus on both your professional and personal development

Get off to a good start

We want to ensure a smooth transition when you start working for Danish Technological Institute. So, in the weeks leading up to your first day, we will provide you with information, videos, and more. This will help you feel like you are part of the team even before you sit down at your desk for the first time.

Once you have started, you will be introduced to our onboarding process. Here, you will meet the managers from each division, get an introduction to the institute from HR, be assigned a mentor, and be presented with a course programme.

I was well received and taken care of even though I didn’t speak any Danish. My colleagues were so incredibly nice to me, and the institute arranged for Danish language instructions.

Knowledge that works

We work to turn theory into practice. This way, we get the best of both worlds. We use and develop our deep-seated professional knowledge all the time to see it come to life when we implement it in the real world.

We collaborate with companies on specific projects, most often with the goal of optimizing or making methods, processes, and production more efficient or on projects focused on sustainability in other ways, e.g. in terms of recycling products or using more sustainable materials.

“To me, the meaningful aspect of my job is working with development and projects that are directly rooted in the real world.

It’s part of our culture to take in students. We learn a lot from these young individuals too, and it’s a breath of fresh air to get their input – making it a win-win.
