Alcohol and smoking policy

The main rule for both employees and customers is that alcohol and work do not belong together.

For anniversaries and special events, it is permissible to drink a beer or glass of wine.

Danish Technological Institute is a completely smoke-free workplace, which means there is a total smoking ban inside the Institute’s buildings.

Smoking may only take place outdoors, where it can be done without affecting the indoor working environment and thus may not take place in front of open windows, doors etc.

If employees do not respect the smoking and alcohol policy, they may be subject to disciplinary action.
