BioPin: Danish-South Korean Biosolutions Process Innovation Network
Project period 2025-2026, Financed by Global Innovation Network Programme (GINP)
The background for the project:
- Biotechnology industry has critical issue tackling upscaling of processes, validating the industrial feasibility and economy of scale.
- The network will be instrumental in fostering partnerships and deepening the collaborative efforts in bioprocess scale-up and product development.
- Collaboration between sectors facing global challenges, including the food industry, agriculture, and sustainable ingredients
The overall gain:
- Research collaborations: Network of Danish and Korean academia and companies working with Biosolutions and development of biobased products and ingredients e.g. innovative and sustainable food solutions for the future.
- Commercialization: Building network with the Korean corporate industry and labs for enhanced research commercialization of innovative processes, technology and products in Denmark.
- Entrepreneurship: Obtain insights into business models for bringing new technologies and companies to market.
- Technology exchange sessions where researchers, technology providers and industry present their cutting-edge bioprocessing technologies and products, fostering mutual learning and partnership.
- Stronger global presence
