Animal welfare in the fishing industry

In the fishing industry, there is an increasing focus on animal welfare, not only for ethical reasons, but also to ensure product quality and sustainability. With new technological possibilities within artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, there are ample opportunities to improve the monitoring and understanding of fish behavior. Thus, these technologies can play an important role in ensuring responsible practice in the fishing industry.

Monitoring fish behavior
