Get started with ChatGPT
In this course, you will receive a practical introduction to artificial intelligence and learn how to use ChatGPT in your everyday life. You will start with the basic AI concepts and then learn to use ChatGPT in the browser and on your mobile for questions, summaries, idea development, and information searches. You will continue with more advanced features such as instructions, structuring conversations, and using ChatGPT for planning and analysis.
You will learn a simple and effective method for writing good prompts, allowing you to control the quality of the answers you receive. We will also work with Excel and code, where ChatGPT can help you with formulas, data processing, visualizations, and small scripts.
Additionally, you will see how ChatGPT can analyze images and documents (called Vision) and create as well as edit images for presentations and communication. Finally, you will get an introduction to Custom GPTs and Projects, which enable you to build your own small assistants and workspaces based on your own files and workflows
Target audience
This course is for anyone who wants to get started with ChatGPT and use AI as a tool in their daily work. For example, you may work in administration, finance, customer service, teaching, communication, management, or other functions where you work extensively with text, planning, analysis, or dialogue with others.
You do not need prior experience with AI or ChatGPT, but you should be curious and willing to try things out in practice.
Prerequisites
You should be familiar working on a computer and able to use common digital tools and browsers. There are no requirements for prior knowledge of AI or programming.

The Perfect ChatGPT Prompt
- A practical prompt template focusing on task, context, format, tone, role, and examples.
Excel and Code with ChatGPT
- Use ChatGPT to write and improve formulas, analyze and structure data, create diagrams, and generate code, e.g., in VBA, Office Scripts, or automation.
Vision
- Use ChatGPT to analyze images, screenshots, documents, receipts, websites, and handwritten notes.
Create Amazing Images
- Generate and edit images, such as realistic photos, product images, illustrations, icons, and portraits for use in presentations, marketing, and internal communication.
Custom GPTs and Projects
- Introduction to building your own simple AI agents with Custom GPTs based on your specific instructions and files.

The course has a practical approach and you will have the opportunity to test and experiment with the technology through practical exercises directly in ChatGPT. The teaching and course materials are in English.
