Introduction to AI for Beginners

Artificial Intelligence is transforming the world. If you're curious about AI but find it difficult to keep up with the rapid developments, this course is the perfect place to start. The course provides a foundational understanding of artificial intelligence (AI literacy), as required under Article 4 of the EU AI Act. It can therefore support organizations in their efforts to comply with the EU AI Act by upskilling employees who work with or interact with AI systems. The course is an English adaptive online course with 90 days of access.

About the course

During the course, you will learn what AI is, how it works, and how to start using it in your daily life and work. Through clear and easy-to-understand explanations, you will gain confidence in discussing AI concepts, understanding common terminology, and exploring practical applications. You will also learn how AI is likely to influence the way we work in the future.

Beginners who want a clear and practical introduction to AI, including employees who work with or use AI systems.

The course has been developed by the Danish Technological Institute, one of Denmark's leading knowledge institutions in artificial intelligence and technological innovation. The course content has been developed using AI.

Duration

The course is structured in 2 modules and takes approximately 1 hour to complete. It is an adaptive online course in English, available for 90 days.
 

Adaptive Online Learning Format

Once enrolled, you will receive immediate access to the course. You can complete the training whenever and wherever it suits you during your 90-day access period.

Adaptive learning uses artificial intelligence to analyze your performance and tailor the learning experience to your individual needs. Unlike traditional online courses, the content continuously adapts to your existing knowledge level, allowing you to focus on the areas where you have the greatest learning needs rather than spending time on topics you already know.

The time required to complete the course varies from person to person, depending on prior knowledge and learning pace. Throughout the course, you can monitor your progress and view an estimate of your remaining study time. A few weeks after completion, you will receive a refresher module designed to help reinforce and retain your learning.
