TOGAF® EA Training - Foundation
Gain thorough knowledge of the terminology, structure, and fundamental concepts of the TOGAF® Standard 10th Edition, and understand the core principles of Enterprise Architecture and TOGAF®. In this course, you will acquire the foundational knowledge and understanding needed to contribute to an architecture project or work with its deliverables.
Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites for participating in the course. However, it is recommended that you have experience within the IT domain. If you wish to take both the foundation and practitioner exams, you may advantageously register for the combined program: TOGAF® EA Training - Combined.
Participant Profile
The course is aimed at both those who need a basic understanding of a proven enterprise architecture methodology and want to get started with learning the TOGAF method, as well as those who are IT architects, system integrators, business analysts, program or project managers, or business or technical specialists involved in the development of the organization’s architecture.

Content
- The concepts of Enterprise Architecture and the TOGAF® Standard
- The key terminology of the TOGAF® Standard
- The Architecture Development Method (ADM) cycle and the objectives of each phase, and how to adapt and scope the ADM for use
- The techniques available to support application of the ADM
- Applying the ADM, including use of iteration, partitioning, and application in a digital enterprise
- How Architecture Governance contributes to architecture development
- Architecture content – the outputs produced while executing the ADM
Form
Certification
The OGEA-101 TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Part 1 Exam is included in the price. You can decide yourself when you want to schedule the exam. However, the exam must be completed no later than 12 months after the end of the course.
- Number of questions: 40
- Time: 60 min. + 30 min. extra time for non-native English speakers*
- Format: Multiple-choice
- You must answer at least 24 questions correctly (60%) to pass the certification
If you do not pass the certification, you must wait one month before attempting the exam again
