Environmental Technical Verification ETV for climate adaptation products

Did you develop a new climate adaptation product or solution, which is able to clean rainwater, reduce the impact of the sewerage systems to minimize the risk of flooding? Or did you develop a climate adaptation product, which in any other way is beneficial for the environment? Then the technology can possibly be ETV verified.

An ETV is the documentation of the technology, that you have developed, is as efficient as you claim it is. This documentation is called an environmental verification. That is an Environmental Technological Verification – ETV. The verification is a European quality stamp recognized and approved in the EU and other countries e.g. Korea, USA and Canada.

DTI can guide you through the fully procedure to get the certification. As a certified testlab according to DANETV, DTI can assist you in planning and establishing the necessary tests to document the properties of the technology/product, which has to be certified.

Additionally, we will be able to assist companies – especially small companies and SME’s - in financing the tests.

If you are interested in your possibilities in getting an ETV, you are welcome to contact DTI to arrange a meeting, where you can hear more about the process and decide, if it will be possible to verify your product.

DTI offers

  • Design test conditions in dialogue with the company
  • Do the practical tests in a fully scale (1:1) in the climate adaptation lab facilities
  • Document the practical tests which is needed
  • Communicate with the authorities, that issues the certificate
  • Advice in financing the tests (possible funding)
