Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)

About the course

Students view and review e-learning sessions, complete a range of interactive exercises in each session, and test themselves with a range of multiple-choice format questions. These questions are based on typical questions in the CAPM examination. This e-learning is aligned to the PMBOK Guide – Sixth Edition.

Target audience

This qualification is for those delegates who are looking to start or add project management skills into their current role, or for those who want to manage larger projects and gain more responsibility.

Prerequisites

The CAPM exam is not included with this course.

You have to apply to the Project Management Institute (PMI)® before you can sit the exam. There’s a strict protocol as they have to authenticate that the pre-requisite criteria have been met prior to exam attendance. In order to understand the PMI process, we recommend you review the CAPM handbook on the PMI website.

To apply for the CAPM examination, you need to have:

• Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent)
• 23 hours of project management education completed by the time you sit for the exam

Duration

Exam Format

The CAPM exam is not included with this course.

• 150 multiple-choice questions. Of the 150 questions, 15 are considered pretest questions. Pretest questions do not affect the score and are used in examinations as an effective and legitimate way to test the validity of future examination questions. All questions are placed throughout the examination randomly
• Three hours duration
