P3O Foundation

Learn how to facilitate effective portfolio, programme and project management.This accredited P3O® Foundation online course provides you with a full understanding of the Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices (P3O) method, and all you need to pass the P3O Foundation exam first time. The course is approved and accredited by AXELOS Limited.

Learn how the concepts and terminology of portfolio, programme and project offices in the P3O framework makes you able to communicate and participate in a portfolio, programme, or project office, or P3O environment. You can increase your confidence of making a positive contribution in a PMO or P3O environment

The e-learning is broken into bite-size lessons and combines leading-edge multi-media including video and interactive exercises for optimum enjoyment and knowledge retention.

Target audience

This course is for those requiring an understanding of Portfolio Management and the supporting environment for successful programmes and projects. Managers attempting to provide a structure for prioritisation and control of corporate organisational investments, particularly those using PRINCE2® and MSP®, although any methodology can be effectively improved using the P3O model.

Prerequisites

There are no pre-requisites for studying this course or qualification other than an understanding of the project and programme environment.

Exam/Certification

In connection with the course, you will receive a voucher for an Online Proctored Exam (OLP), which you can take from your own computer at a time that suits you best. The voucher is valid for 12 months.

PeopleCert is responsible for everything related to your exam. These 2 guides (for Windows and MacOs, respectively) guide you through the process of booking your exam and describe the process for taking an Online Proctored Exam (OLP)..

Exam Format

Exams are taken online via remote proctor. You will be sent an email invitation within 48 hours of your purchase to register on the Peoplecert portal. Once registered you will be able to book your online exams at a date and time of your choice. You are responsible for booking your own exams.
