Subsurface Microbiology, Souring, Biodegradation and MEOR

This course covers a range of subjects related to microbial growth in reservoirs and other extreme environments:

  • Microbial growth in reservoirs and other extreme environments
  • Microbially Enhanced Oil Recovery
  • Reservoir Souring and Plugging
  • Microbial control, and modelling.

Participants: Reservoir Engineers and Production Engineers, as well as oil company microbiologists. Maximum 16 attendees.

Instructors: Leading specialists from DTI Oil & Gas Team at the Danish Technological Institute.

Duration: 1 day course.

Course fee: The course fee is 750 Euro (Ex VAT), 5,600 DKK (Ex VAT) for one participant.
For 3 or more participants from the same company a 10% discount will be given for each person. The course fee includes: sessions/workshops, practical demonstrations, course material and diploma. Furthermore, all meals during the course day (morning tea & coffee, lunch buffet and afternoon cake) are included.
