At Danish Technological Institute, we offer specialized testing of energy-related products in our seven test rooms – or climate chambers.
Our test rooms are specifically designed to conduct precise and standardized tests, ensuring that your products adhere to the highest quality and energy efficiency standards. Among other parameters, we test the energy consumption and performance of the products to verify their labeling.

Testing of Vaccine and
Household Refrigerators
Products: Vaccine coolers and household refrigerators (ovens, wine coolers, etc.)
Capacity: 6 test stands distributed over two podiums
Temperature: +5 °C to 50 °C
Humidity: From ambient to 100% relative humidity
Standards: Built according to EN 62552 and WHO PQS standards

Testing of Household Refrigerators
Products: Household refrigerators (ovens, wine coolers, etc.)
Capacity: 10 test stands distributed over two podiums
Temperature Range: +5 °C to 50 °C
Relative Humidity: From ambient to 100% relative humidity
Standards: Built according to EN 62552 standard

Testing of Display Cabinets
and More
Products: Plug-in display cabinets, storage cabinets, beverage coolers, ice cream cabinets, vaccine coolers
Capacity: 1 at a time up to a length of 1.5 meters or a maximum of two smaller supermarket refrigeration units
Temperature Range: +5 °C to 50 °C
Relative Humidity: From ambient to 100% relative humidity
Standards: Built according to EN/ISO 23953, EN/ISO 22041, and WHO PQS standards
Test Room 4XL Climate Chamber for
Large Refrigeration Units
Products: Large display cabinets, roll-in cabinets, and storage refrigerators. Tests of CO2 remote/water loop/plug-in display cabinets.
Capacity: Refrigeration units up to 4 meters long, two at a time
Temperature Range: +5 °C to 50 °C
Relative Humidity: From ambient to 100% relative humidity
Standards: Built according to EN/ISO 23953 and EN/ISO 22041 standards
Test Room 5Testing of Electronics
Products: All electronics (TVs, monitors, hobs, local space heaters, power supplies, coffee makers, etc.)
Capacity: Space for testing smaller devices
Standards: Built according to EN 50564 and EN 62087 standards
Test Room 6Testing of Refrigeration Units
Products: Display cabinets, beverage coolers, roll-in cabinets, and storage refrigerators. Tests of CO2 remote/water loop/plug-in display cabinets.
Capacity: 1 at a time up to a length of 2.5 meters
Temperature Range: +5 °C to 50 °C
Relative Humidity: From ambient to 100% relative humidity
Standards: Built according to EN/ISO 23953 and EN/ISO 22041 standards
Test Room 7All-Round Climate Chamber
Products: A wide range of products including domestic heat pumps, roll-in cabinets, and beverage coolers.
Capacity: 1 at a time up to a length of 2.5 meters
Note: This climate chamber is versatile and can accommodate various types of products for testing.
