Acceptable Use of Danish Technological Institute's AI on Learn

To access and use Danish Technological Institute's AI on Learn (hereinafter AI chatbot), you accept the following terms:

1. Purpose and Limitations

The AI chatbot is an educational tool designed to support your learning on courses at Danish Technological Institute. The tool is based on generative AI technology and has the following limitations:
•    AI-generated content may contain factual errors, inaccuracies or outdated information
•    The system may produce content that appears convincing but is incorrect or misleading
•    The AI does not have access to real-time data or information about specific circumstances at Danish Technological Institute, unless this is explicitly integrated
•    The system does not replace human expertise, teaching or professional advice

2. Disclaimer

Danish Technological Institute does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability or suitability of AI-generated responses for any specific purpose. You use the AI chatbot at your own risk and must always:
•    Verify important information through reliable sources
•    Consult your teachers or professional experts in case of doubt
•    Exercise critical thinking and independent assessment of AI-generated content
•    Not make important decisions based solely on AI output. Danish Technological Institute is not liable for losses, damages or consequences arising from your use of or reliance on the AI chatbot.

3. Data Protection and Privacy

3.1 Your Data
Never share the following types of information in the AI chatbot:
•    Personal information about yourself or others (CPR numbers, addresses, telephone numbers, emails)
•    Confidential or sensitive information
•    Trade secrets or proprietary data
•    Passwords, access codes or security information
•    Sensitive personal data as defined in GDPR (health information, race/ethnicity, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union matters, genetic/biometric data, sexual orientation)

3.2 Data Processing
Your interactions with the AI chatbot may be:
•    Logged and stored by Danish Technological Institute for quality assurance and security purposes
•    Processed by suppliers in accordance with their data processing agreement
•    Reviewed by Danish Technological Institute's staff in case of suspected misuse. Danish Technological Institute processes your data in accordance with GDPR and our privacy policy.

3.3 Your Rights
You have the right to access your data:
•    Rectification of incorrect data
•    Deletion of your data (with certain exceptions)
•    Data portability
•    To object to processing

4. Intellectual Property Rights

4.1 AI-Generated Content
•    AI-generated output may not be covered by copyright in the same way as human-created content
•    You are responsible for ensuring that your use of AI-generated content does not infringe the rights of others
•    Danish Technological Institute does not claim ownership of your input or AI-generated output but reserves the right to use anonymised data to improve the service.

5. Enforcement and Consequences

5.1 Monitoring
Danish Technological Institute reserves the right to:
•    Monitor use of the AI chatbot to ensure compliance with these terms
•    Use automated systems to detect misuse
•    Review specific interactions in case of suspected violation

5.2 Consequences of Violation
Violation of these terms may result in:
•    Immediate suspension or permanent removal of your access to the AI chatbot
•    Disciplinary sanctions in accordance with Danish Technological Institute's regulations.

6. Technical Matters

6.1 Availability
Danish Technological Institute does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the AI chatbot.
•    The system may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates or technical problems.
•    We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the service without notice

6.2 System Requirements and Limitations
•    You are responsible for your own internet connection and equipment
•    There may be limitations on the number of queries or length of conversations
•    Danish Technological Institute may implement usage quotas as needed

7. Updates to Terms

Danish Technological Institute reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via:
•    Email to registered users
•    Notification upon login to the AI chatbot
•    Update on Danish Technological Institute's website

Your continued use of the AI chatbot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
