Nordic project on investigating sustainable sports surface systems - Call for experts
Select Page
We are reaching out to invite experts, stakeholders, and practitioners working in the field of artificial turf and sport surfaces to express their interest in participating in a reference group. The group will provide input and guidance for a project assessing alternative artificial turf systems in Nordic conditions, focusing on functionality, environmental impact, and cost-effectiveness.
The Nordic Council of Ministers has commissioned this project in response to upcoming restrictions on microplastic infill and aims to identify viable and sustainable artificial turf alternatives suitable for Nordic conditions, including the specific climatic and operational challenges experienced in the nordic climate.
Participation in the reference group offers an opportunity to share insights, highlight challenges, and contribute to the development of practical, evidence-based recommendations for the different climate conditions in a Nordic context. Please note that expressing interest does not guarantee participation. The final composition of the group will be selected to ensure a balanced representation of expertise, geography, and sector perspectives.
Would you like to participate in the reference group?
If you (or a colleague of yours) are interested in being considered for the reference group, please fill out this form.
We kindly ask for responses by [Deadline]. Selected participants will be contacted with further details.
Selected participants may withdraw from the reference group at any time should their availability or priorities change.
We look forward to hearing from those interested in contributing to this important Nordic initiative.
