Using advanced modeling and simulation, we map the entire energy system—from ammonia tank and cracker to engine, boiler, and exhaust gas cleaning.
We analyze how energy and heat are best utilized, how much ammonia should be cracked, and how hydrogen and ammonia are distributed among the different components. The objective is to optimize the system's overall interaction, so that energy is used as efficiently and environmentally friendly as possible, regardless of vessel type or operating conditions.
The results form the basis for recommendations on how AFLOAT technologies can be implemented in real ships, and help ensure that the complete solution is ready for practical application in the maritime sector.
