Chemical analyses for DGNB Certification
Do you work as a consulting engineer and/or an occupational health and safety expert? Then it might be your responsibility to ensure compliance with the latest DGNB requirements (effective from January 1, 2021).
Danish Technological Institute, Chemical Characterisation and Services, carries out chemical analyses that comply with the newest DGNB requirements. DGNB requires the evaluation of more than 200 specified substances and other risk compounds in the indoor climate of sustainable buildings. The analyses carried out at Chemical Characterisation and Services follow the current version of EN 16516, and more than 200 substances with specified EU LCI values are included in an analysis, as required by DGNB.
Danish Technological Institute can assist you with relevant analyses
Contact Danish Technological Institute and tell us how we can help you. We would be pleased to prepare a quotation regarding chemical characterisation and - if necessary - services. Danish Technological Institute can also assist with sampling.
- Analyses of Tenax tubes by ATD-GC/MS are carried out according to EN 16516 and ISO 16000-6.
- DNPH coated tubes are analysed for relevant aldehydes, including formaldehyde, according to EN 16516 and ISO 16000-3.
Danish Technological Institute can prepare and forward a report comprising all analysis results, as well as an evaluation indicating whether the measurement results justify certification of the building in accordance with DGNB.
Danish Technological Institute is ready to assist you if any questions or problems arise in connection with the interpretation of the results. Our consultants can also assist you with knowledge of known sources for specific chemical substances.
