Chemical Laboratory

Chemical and physical analyses are cornerstones in investigating and documenting the composition and structure of our food products including parameters such as preservation profile, nutritional composition, and texture. Our chemical laboratory covers a wide range of analyses, also the atypical, nonconform types of analytical tests.

About the chemical laboratory

The laboratory offers a wide range of analyses and measurements – see the full list here.

Chemical analyses of boar taint in male pigs

Entire males may develop boar taint odour & flavour due to presence of skatole & androstenon

Chemical analyses of sugars and carbohydrates

Sugars and carbohydrates are amongst the most important constituents of food, feed and other biomass

Food analyses by headspace GC-MS

Within recent years, GC-MS analyses have evolved to become a standardised measurement technology.

Standard chemical analyses of food

Chemical analysis of food is generally conducted to investigate & document the composition.
