Fertiliser trials

Do you want to document the efficacy of a fertiliser product? At Danish Technological Institute, we have extensive experience in conducting field trials with both solid and liquid fertilisers.

We have access to trial sites throughout Denmark, enabling us to conduct parallel trials across various soil types and climatic conditions. We tailor the trial design to document even small but significant differences in yield, for example when testing micronutrients.

Field trials with fertilisers require precision and meticulous care, and we have specialised trial equipment to ensure uniform fertiliser distribution. Our equipment can be used for the placement of various solid and liquid fertiliser types during sowing, as well as for application throughout the growing season.

The effect of the fertilisers is documented through data collection, calculation and reporting of ongoing sensor measurements, yield determination and quality analyses of the harvested crop.
