Green transition in industries and value chains
We create value in the green transition
The green transition is changing framework conditions and competitive dynamics across industries and value chains. ESG, circular economy, recycling, and new business models are not just trends—they are crucial for the future competitiveness and sustainability of companies and organisations.
What can we offer?
We help organisations understand and leverage the potential of the green transition. Through analyses and advisory services, we provide an overview of opportunities, barriers, and solutions within sustainable production, business development, and regulation.
We use a wide range of methods to ensure in-depth and valid insights:
- Surveys and interviews with companies, industry organisations, and authorities to map needs, challenges, and best practices.
- Advanced statistical analyses and registry data to uncover trends, relationships, and effects of new initiatives.
- We have access to a comprehensive database of Danish companies, making it possible to identify industry developments and the level of green transition in companies. The database provides an overview of companies, competencies, R&D, value chains, technology, and much more.
- Scenarios and technological roadmaps that provide insight into future sustainable solutions and market development.
Our analyses create tangible value—whether it is about making strategic decisions, raising political awareness, or developing new solutions that promote sustainable growth. Let us help you turn the green transition into business opportunities. Call us for advice and sparring.
Case examples:
Circular transition in Denmark – Barriers to responsible consumption and production
This report has been prepared on behalf of the 2030 Panel to map barriers to Sustainable Development Goal 12. The report focuses on five key consumption areas (food, transport, housing and construction, textiles, and electronics), and the analysis shows that the path to more responsible consumption and production is branched and complex.
SMEs’ collaboration on the green transition
This report examines the green transition of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMES). Danish Technological Institute, on behalf of Reg Lab, has examined how SMEs innovate and collaborate with other stakeholders to develop new green solutions.
