Invitation to Join Nordic Online Workshops on Carbon Capture - Accelerating the Green Transition in the Nordics with NorCCSWe invite innovative SMEs, large corporations, technology providers, and Nordic stakeholders to participate in a unique series of online workshops this autumn – aimed at advancing Carbon Capture technologies across Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.NorCCS is a new partnership between leading Nordic Research and Technology Organisations (DTI, SINTEF, and RISE), supported by Nordic Innovation. Our goal: to accelerate CCS innovation and commercialization, especially for hard-to-abate sectors and negative emission solutions (BECCS).

Workshop 1: Monitoring Technologies for Air Emissions
Host: SINTEF

Discuss new monitoring solutions, public acceptance, and regulatory best practices.

Workshop 2: Reduction of Energy Consumption for Carbon Capture
Host: Danish Technological Institute

Explore integration of CC with industrial sites, energy efficiency, and large-scale heat pumps.

Workshop 3: Solvents for Carbon Capture
Host: RISE
Date: October 7th, 2025 from 14.00 to 16.30
Learn about advances in solvent development, stabilization, and corrosion prevention.
