Advanced Test Rigs for Liquid-to-Water Heat Pumps
Danish Technological Institute offers accredited testing of liquid-to-water heat pumps and large-scale systems using our advanced test rigs. Working in close dialogue with our customers, our test specialists help you document product performance, navigate compliance requirements, and establish a reliable foundation for product development, certification, and market access.
Our four dedicated test rigs support precise and standardised testing across a wide range of capacities, from domestic units (15 kW) up to large-scale industrial systems of 2 MW. We assess key performance parameters, including energy efficiency, heating and cooling capacity, seasonal performance (COP/SCOP and EER/SEER), and domestic hot water (DHW) production. All testing is carried out in accordance with relevant international standards (such as EN 14511 and EN 14825), EU regulations, and European test schemes, or tailored to customer-specific development needs.
Our facilities are fully equipped to support several product categories, with a primary focus on liquid-to-water, brine-to-water, and water-to-water heat pumps.
