Domestic Ovens and Hobs
Domestic ovens and hobs are to comply with ecodesign and energy labelling requirements.
Read more about energy labelling here:

An oven serves as an appliance or a part of an appliance, which incorporates one or more cavities using electricity and/or gas in which food is prepared by utilizing a conventional or fan-forced mode. 'Cavity' describes the enclosed compartment in which the temperature can be controlled for the preparation of food.
An electric hob is an appliance that incorporates one or more cooking zones and/or cooking areas that include a control unit, and it is heated by electricity.
Accredited Testing Facilities
Our laboratory is accredited to test domestic ovens and hobs according to the following test standards:
- Testing according to EN 60350
- Testing according to Commission Regulation (EU) 65/2014 and Commission Regulation (EU) 66/2014.
Laboratory Services
Our laboratory complies with the latest EU regulations and requirements and comprises test setups especially designed for testing ovens and hobs.
Tests are performed under controlled test conditions, and the test standard is structured to simulate the actual conditions that ovens and hobs will experience under normal use.
Among other parameters, we offer testing of heating time, testing of energy consumption, calculation of Energy Efficiency Index (EEI), and determination of energy class.
We look forward to helping you optimize your products through precise and reliable testing in our advanced laboratory facilities.
