Nanomaterials are not necessarily constituted by a large amount of tiny round particles, but come in several shapes and forms such as spheroidal, elongated, platelets and multimodal. The morphological attributes of a nanoform has a large impact on the physical and chemical characteristics, why it is an important attribute in registration of nanomaterials.
