3D printing for food contact applications
At the Danish Technological Institute, we are the only company in Denmark with a 3D printing production in compliance with food legislation for the materials titanium, stainless steel, nylon, and BlueDP – and our printed parts come with full traceability. We are continuously working to develop new material properties and improve the surfaces of 3D-printed parts for food contact applications.

Design changes result in a lower price
There is a high probability that you can lower the price of your part, if you make some small design changes - we are happy to guide you on how to do that.
To lower the price of 3D printing, it is a good idea to:
- Minimize the volume of the item
- Minimize the size of the item
- Change the material selection
- Increase the number of pieces
We match the solution to your needs
At the Danish Technological Institute, we offer both complete solutions that include the entire 3D printing process, as well as customized services that match your needs. We have four metal printers and machinery for all processing stages.
Our goal is to ensure that our customers gain maximum strategic advantages by using 3D printing, and therefore we master the art of precisely matching the choice of technology with each specific task and customer. Contact us, and together we will find out how we can best assist you.
Metal 3D printing was the ideal solution because the shape requirements for the part were so specific. It ended up costing us about 5,000 DKK to make the shaft component with 3D metal printing. If we had done it the traditional way, it would have cost 25,000 DKK
