The Danish Technological Institute offers a lot of competences and services within nano- and microtechnology: chemical and structural surface analysis, material characterization, Nano coating, development of fuel cells and production of many different nanomaterials such as conductive nanocopper and catalysis for cleaning diesel exhaust.
We have a broad field of work. This is reflected in our competences, which we use in both commercial jobs and research- and development projects – always with the objective to offer companies the best opportunities to create new processes and products today and in the future.
Trouble shooting, short delivery and unique coating
We deliver quick trouble shooting in every detail: We examine the structure and chemistry below and on top of the surface, chemical pollution, unknown phases in multiphase products and so on.
All production companies will now and then experience unknow materials in either the commodity, the equipment or the product. In many cases this will cause an immediately stop in the production. We give you the answers to continue the production quickly again.
We offer commercial services within laser micromachining, advanced material characterization on nano- and micrometer scale and functional nanocoating. Among this, we develop unique coatings, which gives you the opportunity to add a water and oil repellent layer to your product.
For more information on our work within material characterization and surface analysis please contact Section Manager Pia Wahlberg on phone number +45 72 20 33 01.
The Future is green, smart and flexible
We wish to create solutions that prepare danish companies not only for today’s production but also for the future production. Therefore, we have a great focus on flexible production, green energy systems and smart products, which will all be key elements in the future production.
In corporation with TNO in Holland we take a closer look at how a flexible production actually will look like. In the autumn 2015, we had borrowed TNO´s PrintValley, a platform for flexible production, and had companies testing the machine and the opportunities with their own products. The objective is to build our own platform in 2016.
The development moves towards smaller and smarter products. In corporation with Danish companies, we examine how nanomaterials can accommodate this. In 2016 we by example work on developing nanoparticles that can be used in printed electronics.
We believe that the future is green. Therefore, we are specialized in developing fuel cells which we test in hearing aids and drones. The objective is that green energy eventually will supersede the “black” energy from batteries in many more products. Read more about how fuel cells will extend the flight time on drones.
How do I cooperate with The Danish Technological Institute?
You always have the opportunity to use our commercial services if you have an assignment that requires our expertise. All you have to do is give us a call. If you have an idea for a new product or process or a new way to optimize these you have the opportunity to work with us on a developing project.
We believe that the best solutions are created together with other companies. Therefore, we would gladly help you apply for funding for your developing project.
