Induction Heating
Induction heating has been used for metalworking in decades, as this type of heating offer wireless transmission of energy to any conducting material. So it is possible to heat a sample without it being in direct contact with the heater. In induction heating a sample is put into a magnetic field, which oscillates thousands times per second. The transmitted power depends the electrical conductivity and the magnetic properties of the material. We can assist you with selection of materials, coil design and parameters such as frequency and magnetic field amplitude.
We can assist you with the following activities:
- Optimization of power and uniformity of magnetic field.
- Choice of frequency and amplitude.
- Coil design, shape, diameters, length,
- Choice of material.
- Induction welding of polymers with metal foils
