En hydrocyklon anvendes i biofermenteringsprocesser til at separere partikler fra en væskestrøm ved hjælp af centrifugalkraft. Dette er en nyttig teknologi i industrien.

Hydrocyclone

A hydrocyclone is used in biofermentation processes to separate particles from a liquid stream using centrifugal force. This is a useful technology in industry.

Hydrocyclones are an effective tool for improving process efficiency and product quality in the biofermentation industries.

Hydrocyclones have a wide range of applications. Within the food and beverage industry, hydrocyclones are mainly used for the separation and classification of particles in liquids. In biosolutions, they can be used to separate solids from biological solutions or to separate biomass for various purposes.

Application in biofermentation processes

In biofermentation processes, hydrocyclones can be used to separate microorganisms or cell components from a fermented liquid. This can be particularly useful in the production of biotechnological products such as enzymes and other bioproducts.

Our Hydrocyclone

Designed as compact self-cleaning automatic filters and made of stainless and acid-resistant steel.

How can the Danish Technological Institute help you?

The hydrocyclone is part of the Danish Technological Institute's Biosolution Technology Center, where we offer laboratory and pilot testing within biorefining and biofermentation. Our equipment here often forms part of the process in the development of innovative products - either in connection with research and development projects or in direct collaborations with companies.
