We offer

Danish Technological Institute offers type testing and quality assurance of wood stoves, inset appliances and biomass boilers. We conduct these tests in our accredited energy laboratory.

Accredited and recognised laboratory

Our laboratory is accredited for type testing by DANAK, notified body (1235) and approved as a Flamme Verte laboratory. In addition, we participate in European standardization work for wood stoves and boilers. We are also accredited to carry out inspections.

Type testing of biomass boilers

  • We offer type testing of biomass boilers in our laboratory or as field measurements.
  • When a test is completed and a boiler complies with the relevant requirements, we include the boiler on the list of approved biofuel plants.

Type testing of wood stoves

  • We offer type testing of wood stoves, inset appliances and pellet stoves in our laboratory.
  • The Energy Laboratory offers all types of tests required to comply with the various standards and requirements in Europe.
